Jasinda Wilder has another hit on her hands! Loved the plot of Stripped, the characters kept my attention throughout the entire book, and Dawson will have you doing some doing some serious swooning! The book begins as Grey, a pastor's daughter grows up in a strict environment, leading a very sheltered life, and wants more than anything to be set free. Some dramatic turn of events will set her wishes in motion, and take her life in a completely different direction than what she is accustomed to! Once the new life begins, she begins to lose focus on who she is, and starts to worry that this experience she dreamed for herself isn't all it's cracked up to be!

Dawson is Hollywood royalty, a sexy smokin' HOT playboy who always gets what he wants, but he's been missing something from his life for a very long time, something he craves, and doesn't even realize he's missing until one night in a Strip club changes his mind! That night will turn his world upside down, and make him realize all that he has been missing out on, will he finally open up about his demons that have been buried inside of him?

I enjoyed reading this latest book by Ms. Wilder, she really has a knack for drawing a reader into her stories, and not wanting to put it down until finished! The only thing that kept me from giving give one 5 stars is some of the sex scenes, without giving too much of the plot away, it was hard for me to think of Grey doing some of the things she did when the characters started to engage in sex. But, that being said, I really LOVED the book, and would recommend it to my friends, and would love to hear more from Grey and Dawson, and look forward to Jasinda Wilder's next project!

I usually don't write reviews, but whenever a book like this comes along I just have to let out my frustrations somehow, so here I go. At the beginning the book was fine, a bit boring but it was coming along fine enough, I have to admit I loved for the most part the relationship Dawson and Grey had. But this book would've been much more believable if the female character wasn't a pastors daughter, I mean I understood her struggles but because of her background I didnt find believable her actions. And Dawson being this huge movie star was the biggest cliche of all. I think the story would've been much better and believable if she had the same financial problems, and maybe a small town girl, and for him to just have been a regular guy, make him a millionaire if you want, but dont make him a huge movie star! Apart from all that I would've given the book 4 stars because the relationship between them is beautiful but I absolutely loathed the last 1/4.....

It absolutely made no sense for the characters to move from the first day after having sex to the next chapter when she is getting proposed, I mean the author skipped the beginning of them as a couple which most time are the best parts, seeing the characters falling into each others patterns and so on. And not only did she skip all of that, but the next scene is so juvenile putting an Oscar scene with Channing Tatum and Emma Stone, and him winning the Oscar and proposing right there? I mean I laughed and not in a good way it was the most horrible unrealistic thing I've ever read in my life! I was so mad at the book for just skipping all the way to the proposal when the author never gives you the chance to get to know them as a couple, and now he proposes and your are supposed to be all happy about it, but seriously?! I basically skipped the last chapters, I was so disappointed by the end.

It was a good book overall, but I am the kind of person who just loves a good ending, so I get very upset when a good story is completely trampled by the end.

Overall I would've given it 2 stars because I hated the ending, but i have to admit that I love the characters and their dialogue so I gave it 3 stars.
Grey Amundsen has grown up hiding who she really is or wants to be because her father is a strict Baptist pastor who demands that she follow his rules. Her Mom is her only cheerleader and knows that Grey needs to spread her wings and live a different life. When the unthinkable happens and Grey is left with just her father, she flees because he doesn't know her and has never tried to understand her. She embarks on her dream of working in films and goes to USC all alone. When the reality hits that her scholarship money won't last forever she must get a job that pays a lot and quickly ... enter the strip club. She hates it ... Jasinda Wilder really lets you feel all of Grey's emotions as she faces all of these challenges and then one night Dawson Kellor (famous actor) sees her and knows she doesn't belong where she is. From here we get to ride the wave of a great romance as Dawson tries to break through Grey's walls and Grey tries to figure out who she really is. All I can say is chapter 12 blew me away .... SIGH! Enjoyed Grey's journey to find herself - realizing she is more than what she knew as a child and that this is ok. Thank you Jasinda Wilder for another great romance!
